Whitepod Alpine Ski Resort is a modern igloo habitable which was designed several years ago. The idea behind its design was to enjoy the mountains in all respects with the comfort of the rooms.
Accommodation
This resort offers a unique concept for a memorable stay. The resort has 15 geodesic-dome rooms or pods surrounding a central chalet called the Pod-house. Each of these igloo like pods feature a king size bed, a fireplace and a beautiful panoramic view of snow-capped mountains, with a small raised terrace. Each pod is placed a few meters apart for each other and offer stunning views of the snow caped Alps. The pods are designed with modern element with a rustic touch that brings warmth to your stay. The guests are also offered with Alpage de Chindonne which is an authentic mountain lodge. This lodge can accommodate up to 80 guests in rooms of dormitories. It also consists of a traditional Swiss restaurant.
Food
Near the pods in the heart of the hotel is The Chalet des Cerniers. This structure is a traditional wooden chalet which also acts as base-camp for the entire resort. This place offers an inventive and refined cuisine in its new restaurant. It is a place where you can chat and enjoy the food with the sunning mountain views.
Facilities and activities
The hotel’s spa is a great way to unwind and guest can also enjoy 7 kms of pure skiing pleasure at the resort’s ski slopes inclusive of private ski lifts.
