New Hotel is designed by the Campana Brothers, the Brazilian award winning designers. Located in the heart of Athens, New Hotel is renovated form the former Olympic Palace Hotel. This hotel is a Yes! Hotel venture who are known for their exclusive art collections and contemporary designs.
Reception
The hotel desk and lobby are extremely contemporary. The extra long angle desk is custom made to contour the space. The contemporary chairs are made with green layered fabric. A beautiful light element is also featured to illuminate the space. But the highlight of this area is an exclusive wall art made with wood featuring different techniques. A spiral staircase leads the guests to their room.
Stay
The hotel consists of 79 stylish rooms. These rooms are adventurously designed. The three different themes to the rooms reflect the true Athenian culture. The first theme is dedicated to different fictional characters from the Greek folklore known as Karagiozis. The second theme embraces the ‘evil eye’, a bead that protects against bad omens. The third showcases historic post cards offering an insight of the old Athens to its guests.
Food
The hotel’s restaurant is an extremely contemporary space with exclusive art pieces. A dining experience here is enchanting. Thought it is an indoor area, its gives a feel of a contemporary outdoor area. The two wood chip pillars are the attraction of the entire space. The elements are natural with earthy colors. The red upholstered chair and green carpets offer a natural ambiance. The hotel’s modern and chic style is maintained here too.
